What's your best advice on how to deal with the post-holiday blues?
Shopping!
Always something to look forward to. Shop for a new New Years outfit. Shop for a new outfit for church, shop for your friends who are having a baby (we have to babies to shop for) or a birthday present.
Also plan a party, a birthday party or a kick off the new year with a no drinking party.
You don't really need a reason to plan a party.
Also start that new hobby you've wanted to try.
Keeping busy is the key to dealing with the blues.
It might not be in the holiday spirit, but we want to know anyway: What's the best present you received this year?
Earrings from the sweater.
I love them!!! He put them in this big box with gigantic batteries taped inside to make me think it was something else. As soon as I saw the tiffany box I cried. I cried more when I saw they were the earrings. Thats the my gingerbread man from Tiffany's. I can't believe he did all of this. Thats the best part.
What one film do you think everyone should see?

What's your guilty television pleasure?
OMG! i have so many!
Bravo's Broke Housewives of... I say broke because they are all loosing their homes.
MTV's The Hills, The City, Style'd, and wait for it... Jersey Shore. I know it's bad!!!! (cringe)
Syfy's Ghost Hunters. For many reasons, I'm fascinated by the paranormal and Steve and Dave Tango are super hot! I also follow them on twitter and facebook. (I'm reading this and I feel like a stalker) lol.
I dvr everything and I'll erase them if I don't have time to watch it. Also it depends on my mood, If I'm looking for something to watch and I don't "feel" it I'll erase it.
I do listen to music from cable. So you'll hear the 90's channel here a lot. It's 921 on cox cable.
What's your favorite thing about the holidays? Least favorite?
My favorite is the decor and music. I think that people relax and let go of tension and all that jazz when the lights go up and hear the music. I'm sure it reminds people of good time and good time to come.
Least favorite the fact that I feel guilty about eating and broken new years resolutions.
How has technology’s constant presence affected your (or your child’s) education?
Sponsored by LifeScoop: Bringing You Tips for a Connected Lifestyle.I don't have kids but my nephews school provides the kids with laptops. They take them home and do their homework on them and take them back to school. The students are able to connect to the schools server and download assignments and turn in homework. This is incredible.
Also more and more schools are turning to smart boards in classrooms. I'm fascinated by this but at the same time I'm worried that this generation and others to come will not know how to so long division (one of my favorite things to do and teach) or spell well on their own.
I consider myself part of generation spellcheck so what does that say about the others?
What's your favorite thing about the holidays? Least favorite?
Getting presents is my favorite thing about the holidays
Least favorite is crappy presents.
Happy Holidays!
What gifts are you planning to get this year for the tech-geek in your life?
Sponsored by LifeScoop: Bringing You Tips for a Connected Lifestyle.Shopping for my tech god is super hard and I was just talking to him about that, on our drive home from the cinema. I wonder what I'll get him. I've given him everything a girl gives a boy and guess what he don't use it. So I'm all out of ideas.
A lot of people start decorating for the holidays before the Thanksgiving leftovers have been eaten... What about you? When are you going to start putting up your holiday decorations this year?
There is not much to decorate here. I guess maybe outside lights but not sure.
