Why I'm not getting married.

This weekend was spent in Visalia Ca. A sleepy town where my fathers only family lives. My younger cousin Chris got married and Sweater, mom and I drove up to attend. Before this weekend, Sweater and I felt some discomfort from family about getting married but nothing we could not handle. This weekend was another story! AHHHHH!!!!!

Why we are not married:

I am not emothionaly ready to be a wife
I don't have an idea of what my definition of a wife would be/do
Have not compared notes with sweater on HIS definition of a wife or husband...
I have a lot of goals I'd like to see out before I marry or start a family
I think I'm to young to get married
I am not financially stable, what would I bring to the marriage?
I KNOW myself well enough to know that I'd be a shitty partner at this point in my life

Now here is another thing why I can't stand people asking us or telling me what to do to "care" for my man...

My cousin 1 asking me if I cook for sweater. Sometimes I cook, he cooks or we work as a team and make food together. 1's reaction was something like "she's the woman!"

Attending a family bbq and having my mother tell me "get up and make sweater a plate" Is bullshit!!!

Are you fucken kidding me? What century are we living in that I have to get up, stop my conversation, stand in line to get a plate of food for a man who is capable of getting his own plate!!!!!!

I am dating a man who is secure enough to get up and make his own plate which by the way, what asshole would I be ignoring my boyfriends views of not eating pork and putting him on the spot like that!

My mother didn't care if he was uncomfortable about the pork, she just wanted me to know my place.

This is another reason why I don't date Latinos. I don't want to date a guy with a case of mamitis. No thanks!

I want a Man not a Child! FYI: Mamitis is a mama's boy, the guy who compares your cooking, cleaning, dressing, attitude to his saint of a mother.

My cousin 2 married a girl who is in her early 20's still in braces and plays the role of the good wife getting 2 a plate and a drink... Thats nice it works for them.

I would never bring up in front of others or take her to the side and impose my views on her. I expect the same respect. What I do In my relationship or what I don't do, is non of your fucken business.

I would never say, "your husband is going to cheat on you because you don't take it up the ass, just try it once and lube it up, take one for the team." HOW RUDE AND INAPPROPRIATE!

Don't tell me your rules about dating, or how to treat my partner. Sweater and I have been just fine for almost five years.

News flash getting a ring is not something I'm looking for.

Wedding photography gone bad, way bad!

Usually I'm ok and I can live with the pictures, simply because they look like a pro took them. But my brothers wedding pictures look like crap!

Harsh lighting, bad angles, non-posing, and no-attention to details!

Now I understand that you pay a certain amount and in that contract you have a few pictures that are photoshopped, but the rest of the pictures should be decent! I'm not saying they should be magazine ready but they should be at a professional level.

Here are pictures of the bride at 2/3, other wise known as the missing eye. The photographer did not pose the bride! this makes the brides face look wider.

Church pictures

Harsh light, focus problems and to dark. I could not believe I was seeing these! My god they are just awful! A pro took these? Thats no pro!

The kids are not posed, this is a snap shot that Uncle Buck took.

Pay attention to the little girl's shoe, details, look at the details and pose the subjects, don't let them pose themselves.

A little head tilt goes a long way when taking a portrait. Have her stand differently and have her do something with the basket.

Pose the family! I can't see the brides eye and where is the rest of their bodies? Why are they cut off?

I'm especially pissed because this was my brothers wedding!

Have you ever had a premonition? Did you heed it?

A premonition is used to have a feeling about something esp. something bad but here it goes.
Yes all the time! I am a firm believe in listening to your gut. I listen well when it happens and proven it time and time again. The first time it happen I was cleaning out a glass bowl removing the wax from it. It was one of those candles made mostly of oil and if you put the glass in the freezer the wax will come right off. anyway I forgot about the freezer and tried to take the wax off and about 2 seconds before it broke in my hands I had a vision of the glass breaking in my hands and cutting me, I ignored it but remembered how it was going to break and sure enough, just the way i saw it, it broke. I freaked out so much. It was the most scariest thing ever. I was home alone and was about 19 or 20 y/o.
Before that I would say things like this happened to me but didn't really pay attention. I've always had some sort of luck on my side. But I started to notice all of these strange things more often after I had brain surgery. I don't think it was the surgery but the fact that i was paying attention to my body and my surroundings now. I think thats all you need to do, listen, focus and get to know your body.

Halloween's come and gone and you know that that means... Time for holiday decorations! What does your city or town do to decorate each year that you most look forward to?
Living in San Diego means that Balboa Park is going to look amazing now. I mean it's awesome already but with the holiday decor it looks so much nicer. I love the holiday cheer. I can't wait to go out tomorrow and get some decorations for the house. I'm super excited, i was inspired from my trip to disneyland for this holiday season.

Fix my phone and don't give me attitude.

Last night I went to the Sprint store in Mission Valley on Fenton Parkway to pick up my new phone. Now remember, they ordered me a phone when they broke my phone. Russell Bui was the customer service rep who "helped" us. Russell Bui was no help at all, I'm not really sure why he's working as a customer service rep, because his skills as a C.S.R suck ass.

Russell Bui said that I was eligible for a upgrade and I pointed to dave "he said I should wait for the new samsung phone next month." Russell Bui was not happy. Russell Bui was especially not happy when I told him that my battery never dies and can go two days without charging. I use my phone a lot, Russell Bui could not process this idea. Russell Bui was also very agitated with Dave when he told Russell Bui the new Hero phone had battery problems and that I would not be getting that either. Russell Bui had only this to say "when you have a phone that does so many different things the battery life is not going to last long" Clearly Russell Bui was upset that he would not be selling me a new mobile. I get it, you have to represent the company but when a consumer is telling you their experience with their phones "be open to it". We the consumers are the ones using the devices all day long, months, years even, like me!

He took my broken phone to have the contacts transferred to the new phone, after a while he came back and said he needed a password for the phone. Now keep in mind that the keyboard on the phone does not work so no password is set up, it's IMPOSSIBLE to have a password when the keyboard non operational!!! Anyway after we told him that there is no password he leaves, returns and states that the contacts can not be transferred and that I have to take my new phone without the contacts. At this point we've waited about an hour. Dave tells Russell Bui that he needs to go back and write the numbers down and enter them into the phone because they broke the phone. It's their responsibility. Russell gave us this look and this is when the attitude got worse, swaying the hips and rolling the eyes, "OH HELLL NO! Bitch"

I explained to him that a couple of weeks ago the phone was taken to the lemon grove store for a software update, nothing broken with the phone just acting funny. Before I could finish he started to talk "so you took it to the other store becuase it was broken and now you brought it here..." I said "No, it was not broken, it needed an update, it needs one every so often and I've brought it in for the updates before, the phone started to play music at random and I could not hear my phone calls so we brought it here to have another update, No need to open it and replace any parts. The keyboard was working just fine when I brought it in, The receptionist told us that the tech had opened it and taken the keyboard off and when she took it off the board broke therefore replaced it. When the new board didn't work she (the tech) ordered a new phone for me and told me to pick it up today, wednesday."

He said that he was going to take the phone back to the tech and have them take care of it. After what seemed for ever, he came back and said that the password for was ddrt but the attitude from this motha' fucker was of the highest disrespect for customers such as us, that have been with the company since Russell Bui was in diapers!

Who knew that Sprint's computer system was fucked up that it would come up with a password all of it's own, yet Russell Bui made it seem that it was our fault. This is some bullshit!

Now here is the thing friends, you all know Dave and his gentle ways, he doesn't raise his voice, No one has ever seen him mad, I haven't seen him mad and I've lived with the guy for almost 4 years! Dave was calm, didn't raise his voice, I sat down and had Dave take care of it because I was pissed at Russell Bui's attitude and his lack of LISTENING to the customer. Also Russell Bui just heard what he wanted to hear, he didn't believe Dave or I when we explained to him, the tech had broken the phone. Russell Bui should learn how to put on a poker face, ganted that might be hard because he has never "poked any hers." But he is Asian so his poker face should have developed from a young age.

Russell Bui also declined Dave's request for a credit on our bill for the inconvenience saying "I don't think so."

Little does Russell Bui know, Dave always gets what he asks for.
